I'm a biomedical scientist and long-term WFHer. I'll probably post sporadically. I'm mainly interested in trying to understand why other people think as they do and where the real points of difference/disagreement lie.

I used to read the old UKPR, mainly for the entertainment of Covid posts in Hastings... Hard to believe that's still ongoing.

I did try to comment on the old blog a few times but they were never approved so I soon gave up.

Long time lurker, and occasional poster on UKPR1 but usually on the constituency boards. Don't expect to see many posts - I've always believed that I learn more by reading /listening than talking /writing.

Not much interested in the partisan battles, but polling detail. Born and raised in Norfolk but now in Cumbria. First voted in 1979 but have abstained as often I have voted since, as I've never found a party which deserved my vote.

As I look at all sides, I'm often happy to play devil's advocate.

Hello. Decided to take the plunge after being a long term lurker. Was a very occasional poster on the old ukpollingreport. No idea what my username was back then!

I am left of centre and very green minded but mainly interested in how accurate the polling will be this time around. I cannot quite believe the scale of the present polling but live in hope!
